What I Made Today….

One of my favourite products that I make in the SewSew workshop has always been my Clouds!  They’ve always been a firm favourite with not only me but the customers too which got me thinking that it was about time I came up with some fun new products to show off their awesomeness! Here is something I’ve been working on today….

I started by making some mini versions of my clouds, which I think just makes them even cuter!  As you’ll notice they are missing their lovely felt weather symbols but fear not, they will be along soon!  Btw, check out my sexy new wooden floor in the work room!  Been giving the whole room a bit of a make over and once I tidy it again I’ll take some nice pics and post!  Anyway, back to the Clouds!

And now you see were the felt weather symbols come in!  The Clouds make a lovely garland and I felt pretty happy with where it was going once it was all laid out.  I also spent quite a bit of time trying to space everything out as evenly as I could which resulted in a lot of head scratching and much abuse to my calculator.  Needless to say I gave up and did it by eye which worked out just fine!  (Maths is not my strong point, besides, 150 divided by 11 equals a ridiculously long number!)  And here is the finished piece….

I’m really happy with the way it turned out!  It just needs a tweaking here and there and it will be ready to be properly photographed and in my shops!
